Showerguard™ – new fluorine free formulation

The Showerguard™ easy-clean kit for shower glass has been protecting new and rejuvenating the nations existing showers for over thirteen years. Customers have loved its ability to bring old shower glass and ceramic glazed tiles quickly and easily back to life after build-up of limescale and contamination. By repelling limescale, soap scum and dirt, Showerguard™ coating makes showers easy-clean, its’ hydrophobic action ensures water beads and runs off, taking contamination with it. It provides the optimum, permanent non-stick shower surface.

Showerguard’s credentials have been enhanced with a new water-glide active called Nanoflex® Optiperl, an environmentally responsible fluorine free technology which meets the green “high bar” by excluding all chlorofluorocarbons (CFC’s) and perfluorochemicals (PFC’s) – which are particularly harmful to the environment.

Use of Nanoflex® Optiperl has enhanced the repellent performance of the Showerguard™ home application kit with a smoother water glide finish, delivering excellent hydrophobic properties against soap scum and limescale – but without the environmental impact.
