Description

The coating is crystal clear, UV stable, chemically inert and extremely durable, having both hydrophobic and oleophobic capabilities. It provides an easy-clean, low maintenance performance, reducing the need for cleaning by up to 70%, and is unaffected by extremes of temperatures from –20°C to +450°C.

GlassGuard™ can be applied to new glass or to restore existing surfaces to their original quality.

GlassGuard™ Care Instructions:

Periodic cleaning of the glass surface will be required according to conditions, and high-pressure/steam cleaners may be used.

  • Use any suitable household glass cleaning product.
  • Avoid cleaning agents containing heavy detergents.
  • Do not use abrasive scrubbing equipment for cleaning.
  • Residual marks are most likely to be caused by limescale in tap water as the result of spraying the roof or window using a hose, not by rainwater. Wash the roof to remove the marks, then wipe away excess water with a suitable rubber blade.

Application:

Drops of the liquid are applied either on a slightly absorbent cloth or directly to the substrate. Polish until the surface
is dry and free of visible streaks. The coating is waterproof after 1 hour and fully cured after 24 hours.

Application Instructions

Preparation – ensure surface is clean and free of contamination.

  1. Use Pre-Clean – spray and wipe to deep clean the surface using white cloth. Treat approx’ 0.25m2 at a time – to avoid quick evaporation.
  2. Apply GlassGuard to the glass surface using trigger spray, polish in with blue application cloth until the surface is dry and free of visible streaks. Treat approx’ 0.25m2 at a time – to avoid quick evaporation.
